Brother Fax Machine
On the 24th of September Rein and I were assigned
in Brother Fax machine. Sir Joel, teach us first on how to configure and to set
up a brother fax machine. After teaching us on how to configure and to set up
the brother fax machine Rein and I made a video doing the brother fax machine
and the documentation on brother fax machine.
Our last project is configuring a Bio-Metric System. Sir Joel,
teach us first on how to configure and to set up a Bio-Metric System and
putting their own designated area. We made a video doing the Bio-Metric System
and the documentation on Bio-Metric System.

Day 60 -64:Emails Accounts

Anne
and I assigned to help desk for this week to transfer emails and files to their
new website. It is not easy to do because transferring emails and files is so
confusing. We finished transferring emails and files in three days. I am so
confused on their new website there are lots of changes on their new website
that why it is hard to do it.
They
assigned us again in TS Web to change, edit and update the following account
and emails of their employee’s and we need to change their Name and put Description,
Office, E-mails and Web Page. We need to be careful on doing this thing because
their website is so very sensitive. Changing account and emails is so hard that
why we didn’t finish it in one day but at the last day we finished it.

September 18,
2012 we attended the Job Fair at SMX Convention Center. After we go to SMX, we
prepared Ten Resume to submit to the different companies. While we are walking
around we saw lots of Job opportunities and in other companies we fill up their
forms in case we can apply to their company. I also register some of the
companies like Accenture, Acquire and Spi Global this three companies they
entertained as well. On this Job Fair they give us experience how to
apply a real job.

This week Sir Joel teaches
how to install and haw to setup a CCTV Camera. This is a very sensitive task
because we also need to connect its own IP Address to their company because
they still need to control and monitor their branches. And Sir Joel told us
that we need documentation for the CCTV project and we need to pass it to him
by next week.

This day Anne and I assigned
again to update their Zimbra account. It’s all about the levels. Of course,
Ma’am georgette instructed us how to do the account’s level. We were assigned
to update the accounts but this time it is for the accounts level of access
since we didn’t finished the account’s level we will continue it again by next
week. Default access for accounts that belongs to local
branches, Level 1 access for accounts that belong to other
department to the HR Dept.,Level 2 access for accounts that belong
to other department in the head office, Level 3 access for
accounts that belong to the Information Technology Dept.,Level 4
access for the BODs.

Science and Technology Week
This week we celebrate our Science and
Technology Week. We attend the opening of our SciTech Week. First there are
different booths on different courses like the booth of Information Technology,
Cosmetics and Biology Science. After the opening we visit the different booth
that the other courses did. On our booth you can see our past thesis that we
made, you can try the game and ask some questions on our classmate that who
made the program. Even though this is our last SciTech week it gave us
happiness.

August 3 we did the
same thing that we did yesterday, before 4:00 pm the program will end.
This is our last time to celebrate the Science and Technology night and it was
fun than the last Science and Technology night. More memories to keep
and well organized. All the programs of the Science and
Technology night it was successful.

Last Friday, We went to
the server room with Sir Tals (Cisco Administration) He explained about their
server how it’s work, the differences between cables that they used. He also
shared something about Cisco.

After that, Sir Tals
gave us a router (different router). It is a Cisco router series 1800 to
configure it. The company was not using the router and we try to reset the
router. Sir Tals, asked us to
try to configure and reset the router but we were necessarily to finish the
task. We also search commands in the internet to reset and configure the
router. He also says the term “Sige, Paglaruan niyo nalang muna yan. Kaya niyo
yan :)
We try our best to reset and
configure the router but unfortunately we did not make it. It’s not easy to
configure a router not like the basic Cisco that we have learned.

Specialist came in our office to change the motherboard of the computer because
of warranty while the Acer Specialist is changing the motherboard of the
computer he explained some basic parts of the motherboard and processor and
after that Sir Joel assigned us to reformat two PC’s and assigned to install
software on a new 13 PC’s.

that Sir Joel, discuss us the common error in the connection of the Fax machine
and the Linksys. Before that we confirmed first if they have the fax machine
and Linksys and if the connection of their Linksys is working after we
confirmed the selected branches we guide them how to trouble shoot the
connection of their Linksys and if the Linksys is working we just get the
serial number of their Linksys.

Last
Thursday, Ma’am georgette teach us how to do the basic trouble shooting and
basic problem of the caller like LDAP in Thunderbird, how to connect printer
using the network Ip address, and manage credential. While Ma’am Georgette
teaching us on that day many thing come out on my mind like if I didn’t solved
the problem of the caller I feel so nervous about that thing and It’s look like
embarrassing for me if I didn’t solve the problem but Ma’am georgette she
had not forsaken us. :)

Yesterday, Ma'am Georgette
waiting for us, because we need to start all over again the "Zimbra
Time". If you could remember June 25-26 our task was migrating from one
e-mail to another e-mail server, unfortunately all we did was erase/lose to the
server! :'( So we repeated from the start.... :(((( (Nakakapagod din!) We
started form Mindanao, Since Anne need's help I helped him so that Mindanao
branch is DONE! :)
The first picture was the MS EXCEL, the old Zimbra and the
latest Zimbra.:]
My second task was too repeated again all the
records in "Cooperative". I assigned again and again at Mindanao
Cooperative. It was indeed tiring but I feel fulfillment because I
done my job! :D

Good Morning! :) I came to office early today
because I feel it.... =)
After lunch
Break we started again updating their emails using Zimbra for
"Cooperative". I assigned in Visayas and Mindanao Branch. The first
picture that's the records given to us that were made using MS Excel same us
with the second picture. The third picture is the outlook of Zimbra :) In our
back the two IT help desk they are so busy for many phone calls, fourth picture
Anne and I finished our assignment and the last picture with Sir. Doi he always

It's been one week when I started my OJT. Upon reaching the
office. Everybody is so busy we don' know what to do after ten minutes Ms. Gege
talked to us she said "Sorry girls ha? Busy lang.Wait lang kayo jan
:))" but we assigned in their email.
JOB WELL DONE! =))
I started my task which is to update's their email using Zimbra. First, I feel
dizzy doing this because many person that you need to update their emails and
different branches Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. I started GMA Luzon up to
Bulacan. We still not yet done doing this. (Tomorrow AGAIN! :))
Good Morning! :) Second day of our task. We
need to finished this! When we seated we start doing this dizzy assignment.
Just a little updates to finish. After two hours I FINISHED MY TASK! =))) I'm
so proud, because I thought I can't do this but :)))) I'm so HAPPY! :O

Yeah!
Thank's God It's FRIDAY! :)) First time to setup CPU'S I don't how to do
this but Sir. Doi, helped and give some steps how to install and how to
assemble a computer. Since rein has no companion to Setup ten's CPU'S we
helped him so that we can easily finished our task. We install the Operating System
(OS) on the new CPU'S and also different software like Avast, PDF Creator,
Zimbra, Team Viewer, Ultra VNC and many more. :D Thank's God I did it! :)

My fourth day. :) I can
say that I adjust easily in the office through the help of my friends and IT
People. First, Anne and I assigned to plat the different branches in different
places. That day, as usual, Ms. Gege was a little busy because of many phone
calls, after that I approach Ms. Gege how to do the plating on Google Earth.
She explained to me everything I need to get the Global Positioning
System (GPS) of different branches, if I found it I need to pin the branch so

Wednesday, it was my
third day in Unistar Company. Ma'am Georgette the Junior of Help Desk
Support the one who handling us and she also introduce us to other employee.
Ma'am Georgette assists and introduce us the basic trouble shooting, connecting
on their ip address. The software that they are using to remote the other
computer is Virtual Networking Computing (VNC) is a remote display system which
allows you to view other Computer and Team viewer. Sir Dennis teaches us
how to use the restriction of a computer and how to connect internet
connection.

It's my first entry for my first internship day so let me
introduce to you, the basic information pertaining to my work. I am currently
doing my training at the unistar Credit and Finance with my assigned beats:
Help Desk Support and troubleshooting. With the company’s instruction I am
guided by my trainor Joel Kabigting. The cash and collection
department borrowed us to called the managers on other branches of the
Unistar like toyota, Honda, Kawasaki and suzuki to ask records
if they have a linksys,and if they have a network and what connection they are
using on their branch update their records. June 19 we just continued
what we made yesterday. J

It's more fun in CEU
CENTRO ESCOLAR UNIVERSITY
Centro
Escolar University is a private school. I don't know why I entered in
this school, maybe the color of Centro Escolar University is
pink but NO! I entered this university because my parents wants’ me in this
school. Of course, I was not really sure If I'd truly enjoy staying here, but I
realized if I stay here my future get better it's a challenge for me. In ceu I
learned how to manage my time, my patient and my responsibilities. I met many
people there are so approchable in may ways. Centro
Escolar University helped me how to deal in many ways like well
organized library, well organized activities, well organized organization as
well, all faculty and staffs are friendly and if you need a advice you can
share with them and also my funny funny block mates since I was first year
college. This is some way why it’s more fun in CEU. I am studying here at CEU
I've learned many things like to be dependent, how to communicate with other
person and meet other person and know your responsibilities in school. The
different college have respective department it’s nice and you enjoy the
different events. And CEU have a different organization that helps
you to enhance your skills. That's why it's more fun in Centro Escolar
University!
